First the Trademark professionals of Lex Protector conducted a trademark search to know whether any similar or identical marks exist there for ‘Baitarani’ as well as for the logo ‘Baitarani Premium Quality’. After being satisfied with the trademark search the Trademark Professionals of Lex Protector in behalf of Mr Jajati, filed trademark application for the trademark ‘Baitarani’ (Word Mark) and ‘Baitarani Premium Quality’ (Device Mark) before the Indian Trademark Registry. The trademarks were applied for registration in class 30, as this class concerns with the kinds of foods such as Wheat, Wheat flour, Besan and other types of Cereal Foods.
After filing, no objection was raised by Indian Trademark Registry and the trademark application was published in the trademark journal for opposition by third party. However, no opposition came forward.
As there was no objection and opposition raised for these trademarks, in June, 2017 ‘Baitarani’ and ‘Baitarani Premium Quality’ got registered and trademark registration certificate was issued by the Registry. Upon successful registration now, ‘Baitarani’ brand name has got more protection against infringement by others and also gained more reputation, fame for its products in commerce. Furthermore, the trademark professionals of Lex Protector are always keeping watch on this trademark, to protect it from any future infringement and to keep it safe.
